Oakes offers an attractive coastal setting for meetings and
conferences.
The Atlantic Oakes is located on
Mount Desert Island, home of Acadia National Park. Mount Desert Island is
considered the most beautiful site on the East Coast. A rare combination
of mountains, sea and islands provide spectacular beauty and a wide
variety of vacation activities.
The Atlantic Oakes is situated on
12 private, ocean front acres, one mile from the village of Bar Harbor and
the entrance to Acadia National Park. Along with our 750' of waterfront on
Frenchman Bay, pebble beach, and private pier, we also offer two tennis
courts (two lighted), an indoor pool, an outdoor pool and several
conference rooms. A full buffet breakfast is served each morning in
season; and we also offer catering services for banquets. How about a
classic Maine lobster dinner?
The Atlantic Oakes is located one
hour from Bangor International Airport and twenty minutes from Bar Harbor
Airport. Transportation may be arranged with prior notice.
